Marketing with stories vs information.

The difference between giving your audience information and telling them a story is very important. Both have their place and each can be a total fail if used in the wrong context. Stories help your audience connect with your product and brand because they see themselves in the story. It’s good for the beginning and middle of the customer journey when they are discovering your products and company and trying to decide if this is their kind of thing. Information is good for the part of the customer journey when they already know that they want something like what you have. They are trying to make a decision and are comparing your offering to others and want to know the features and benefits. Only conveying information on social media isn’t enough; it’s important to tell stories that your audience can care about.
